28th March 2011 / On Sale / Shadowland
The hardcover collection of SHADOWLAND: BLOOD ON THE STREETS goes on sale this week.
This is another “premiere hardcover”, like the DAREDEVIL: SHADOWLAND edition (I’ve now seen a copy of that book, and it’s a lovely package) and comes to around 100pp, collecting the entire miniseries.
As far as I know, none of the issues are available digitally as yet, but if you didn’t see the series when it first came out, you can read an advance feature about it here, and a preview of the first issue here, both at CBR.
23rd March 2011 / Musings
Still here, still alive. I’m writing this to push the site admin post down the page as much as anything, because my radio silence makes it look like I’ve been sat around doing nothing since the site came back up. Au contraire:
— Finished work on a videogame
— Started preliminary work on a new miniseries for Marvel
— Finished the rough draft of WASTELAND #37 (!)
— Made arrangements to deliver my Comics to Consoles talk to a couple of game developer studios
…And all the usual “currently in negotiations” action that goes on behind the scenes regarding future projects. Interesting times, indeed.
6th March 2011 / Admin / Wasteland
You may have noticed that, for the last seven days, this website wasn’t here. We’re hosted by the rather excellent Joyent; but we were on a legacy Textdrive server, and, well, last weekend it finally choked on its own motherboard and collapsed into a flaming heap.
This necessitated a complete migration onto a new server — a simple and invisible process when everything is alive and well, but not so much when the old server is coughing up linefeeds and dying in a pool of its own silicon.
Luckily, everything migrated over successfully, with all data intact, which I’m assured by people who know about these things is pretty damn rare. So we’re back, and hurrah.
As for news I couldn’t post while the site was down… well, actually, there wasn’t any from me. But there was some from Chris Mitten, who finished his first WASTELAND cover…
