7th June 2005 / Queen & Country
I’ve just been told that the first issue of my run on QUEEN & COUNTRY: DECLASSIFIED will be in stores June 22. I’m slightly nervous, but also filled with anticipation, about the fan reaction…
20th April 2005 / Anthologies / Appearances / F-Stop / Queen & Country
After some production delay, FOUR LETTER WORLDS is finally available in comic stores today. I haven’t seen any of the other contributions at all, so I’m looking forward to getting a copy myself – the talent roster is very impressive (and then there’s me, but oversights will happen). A bargain at $12.95, too.
In other news, it’s looking more likely that I’ll be attending the San Diego Comic-Con this year; QUEEN & COUNTRY: DECLASSIFIED is finished, looks lovely, and will be on its way to the printers soon; and F-STOP is at the printers, shipping imminently.
17th February 2005 / Queen & Country
The news is finally out; I’m writing the third volume of QUEEN & COUNTRY: DECLASSIFIED, starting in May. This series focuses on ex-SAS man Nick Poole, during his tour of duty in post-Good Friday Northern Ireland, as grudges and family secrets bring two generations of fighters together in a violent clash. (And it is violent, I warn you now, because the SAS has a rather different way of doing things than SIS…)
Chris Mitten (LAST EXIT BEFORE TOLL, THE TOMB) is drawing, and a damn fine job he’s doing too. Chris and I are hoping to work together again in the future.
The press release, and some preview art, is up at Newsarama now.
