Nick Stoppard is an unlikely photographer - an English graduate who's never taken a snapping lesson in his life. His pictures are terrible, his talents meagre... But dreams, he's got in abundance. And just as Nick's flailing headshot business is about to collapse, he meets supermodel Chantel.

Some little white lies here and there, and before he knows it, Nick's "primitive" style lands him an exclusive deal at the prestigious Gauche fashion house. Within six months, he's lauded all over the world. Cars, money, women and fame, he's got the lot.
